Dr. Dan's Evolving Laws of History

-Dr. Dan's 1st Law of History & Other Things: History is the study of Love, Hate, Tolerance, Intolerance, Understanding,  Sharing, Experiencing, Taking Action, Communicating, Inventing, Adapting, and Destroying; these are the elements of the human condition.

- Dr. Dan’s 2nd Law of History & Other Things: A classic scenario for revolution is a broad disparity between rich and poor and discontent in the masses like starvation or no rights or a combination of both. Often there is a trigger event.

- Dr. Dan’s 3rd Law of History & Other Things: the Discovery of Natural Laws Help Dispel Myths.

- Dr. Dan's 5th Law of History & Other Things Any regions or empires that have diverse cultures, religions, and languages are difficult to rule. We especially see this in the Hapsburg Empire in the 1700s. And in 17th century China. Contrast this side to Japan, where the homogenous nature of the population lends itself to more long term unity and sustainability.

- Dr. Dan’s 7th Law of History - If a country is in the middle of a depression and has lost confidence in the existing leadership, they are ripe for revolution.
